Hello!

My name is Madeline, and I am a Game Developer based in Melbourne, Victoria. I specialise in Game Production, Design and Narrative.

I have always loved games, however when I was accepted into the RMIT Game Design Program after applying on a whim, I packed up and moved to Melbourne to begin my career in the Industry.

Since then I have developed several small solo games and worked as the producer for HeartFall Studios on the game ‘Heart Beater"‘. On the side of my studies, I also undertook several volunteer roles which included managing RMIT presence at Industry events such as managing the RMIT booth at Game Expo, worked as a liason at local industry conferences and most notably, served as the Sectretary, Vice-President and then President of the RMIT Game Developers Club, the Games Kitchen.

I mainly work in production and administration, focusing on managing teams and liasioning with overhead production beauracy. My main goal at all times as a producer is to ensure my team has the best possible environment to produce the standard of work I know they are capable of. This means managing timelines and tasks, managing administrative jobs and providing opportunities for growth.

When I am not producing, I am indulging in my main true love, writing. After a childhood full of creative writing, I grew into my love for world building, prose and my guilty pleasure of academic study. Some of my games have been completely developed in programs such as Twine to test the limits of my narrative design.

Thanks for reading!
